Architecture That Frames the Empty Space

The Orelqiva™ Savelle Arch Buttress Vase transforms an architectural support structure into a sculptural ceramic object. Its softly rounded central body is paired with a single sweeping ceramic arch that extends outward from the shoulder before reconnecting lower along the side.

Between the main body and the arch sits a narrow vertical opening, allowing the surrounding room to become part of the composition. Rather than adding decorative patterns to the surface, Savelle creates visual interest through structure, proportion, and negative space.

Savelle’s defining feature is its external ceramic arch. The structure begins near the upper shoulder, curves outward from the main body, and gradually reconnects closer to the base, creating an architectural rhythm rather than a conventional handle.

Framed Vertical Negative Space

The narrow space between the arch and the vase is intentionally left open. This negative space allows different materials and colors behind the vase to subtly change its appearance—becoming minimal against light walls, graphic against walnut, or architectural against travertine.
